Terry only competed in the Craftsman Truck Series three times, all during the series' inaugural season of 1995. He ran in the inaugural race in Phoenix finishing side-by-side with eventual series winner, Mike Skinner. Second run in Topeka, Kansas resulted in third place finish. His third race came in Richmond, where he finally won. Terry is one of a limited number of drivers that have won both a pole and a race in all three of the top Nascar series.
